Stoke Newcastle Ramblers

Where walking is a pleasure

21 Feb: Working party

At long last the working party is up and running. We met at the council depot at Werrington before heading off to Caverswall to footpath C3.

170221.6We fitted two complete stiles and cleared overgrown foliage from the paths. None of us hit our fingers knocking nails into the stiles which was more luck than skill, so afterwards we rewarded our selves with a well earned drink at the Windmill at Werrington.

The working party was: Alan Bell, Alan Birks, Howard Caton, Ken Twigge and Steve Jones

Here`s looking forward to the next one!
