Eighteen walkers turned out on a cold and wet morning to start the ramble from the Wedgwood estate in Barlaston. We followed the Trent and Mersey canal and made our way across Trentham golf course in stormy weather before going along quiet paths through Trentham and Hem Heath Woods and back to the cars. Afterwards, we stopped at Trentham Hotel for a well earned drink.
