The AGM is open to all Wellingborough Ramblers' members. This is your opportunity to hear reports from the Committee Members about the Group activities over the last year, and for you to ask questions and/or make suggestions as to what you'd like to see from the Group including changes/events and even volunteer for a vacant role in the Group.
The AGM will be preceded by a Saturday morning walk led by Rose Hunt from the Library entrance with light refreshments served in the library on return.
The timetable for the day is as follows:
10.00am Walk from Earls Barton Library led by RoseHunt (car park open at 9.30am) 1.00pm approx. Walkers return 1.15pm/1.30pm Light refreshments served with tea and coffee. 1.45pm Annual General Meeting Proceedings 2.30pm. Speaker from the Wildlife Trust.‘Beavers at Rushden Lakes’, including 15minutes Questions and Answers 3.30pm Close. Tidying of library with bookshelves (on wheels) returned to normal place 4.00pm. Car park locked
N.B. Car parking will be available by kind permission of the Headteacher, Earls Barton Primary School in the car park to the rear of the Library off Churchill Road from 9.30am. The car park will be locked at 10.00am after the walkers have left and reopened again at 1.00pm for those returning from the walk and for those attending the AGM. Please note the car park will be closed again during the AGM and Talk to prevent other people using the facility. We are obliged to do this.
