Lanchester is a village between Durham and Consett is situated in the Browney valley within the eastern foothills of the northern Pennines, in a landscape of mainly pasture and woodland. Previous walks have taken in the Lanchester Valley railway Path, the remains of Beaurepaire Priory- used as a medieval country retreat for the Priors of Durham-and the splendid Ushaw College.

The coach leaves from Claremont Rd, Newcastle upon Tyne NE2 4PT
It will be there for boarding from 9.00am and will depart at 9.30am
The coach leaves our finishing point at 17:00 pm to return to Newcastle
Refreshments are always available at the end of the walks before the return to Newcastle
