| Description | The walk will start and finish at Llanfair Waterdine, Knighton. A figure of eight walk where we see what are said to be some of the best preserved sections of Offa’s Dyke, not once but twice. From Llanfair Waterdine, the walk will steadily climb up to the 8th century linear earthworks known as Offa’s Dyke where we will walk alongside (with option to walk on-top of the Dyke) past Llanfair Hill before descending towards Upper Treverward, before ascending again to cross the Dyke for the second time. On a clear day the views from the Dyke are largely panoramic as there are few trees to hinder the vista. The route will take in Public Footpaths, Bridleways, gravel paths with a little use of quiet country lanes.
