| Details | Saltford and Carrs Wood (5.5 or 7.5 miles) We'll walk along the River Avon to Saltford where we'll stop briefly for drinks/snacks and toilet stop (20p). Then, we'll join the Bristol Bath Railway Path back to Newbridge where you can finish the walk back at the P&R, after 5.5 miles easy, level walking - estimated finish time: 1.30 pm. Or, you can continue with the leader Caroline via Carrs Wood/Twerton for a further two miles for a gentle, undulating walk back to the P&R - estimated finish time 2.30 pm. Bring lunch if walking the whole walk. Optional refreshments at The Boathouse pub after the walk. |
