| Details | Saltford and Carrs Wood (5.5 or 7.5 miles) Bath Ramblers walk Carole has invited Kingswood Ramblers to join with her and Bath Ramblers in a walk along the River Avon to Saltford where we'll stop briefly for drinks/snacks and toilet stop (20p). Then, we'll join the Bristol Bath Railway Path back to Newbridge where you can finish the walk back at the Park and Ride, after 5.5 miles easy, level walking - estimated finish time: 1.30 pm. Or, you can continue with the leader Caroline via Carrs Wood/Twerton for a further two miles for a gentle, undulating walk back to the P&R - estimated finish time 2.30 pm. Bring lunch if walking the whole walk. Optional refreshments at The Boathouse pub after the walk. |
