| Details | Blackstone Edge - Thur 23 Jan BOOKING REQUESTED From the car park we walk through woodland and along streams to cross a farm and then start the climb up to Blackstone Edge taking the Rochdale Way. After traversing the ridge along the Pennine Way we descend on indistinct paths to cross the shoulder of Clegg Moor. We then descend to the lake and pick up the Rochdale Way again making our way back to the car park. Risk assessment: Good paths, some muddy. Care required on indistinct paths on descent from the Edge, poles recommended. |
