| Details | A+B: Breakfast at Penrhos Court We'll meet at Penrhos Court for breakfast, leave at about 10.30 using the footpath that runs south east away from the A44 and circle around to cross it opposite Lyonshall Parish Church. Then we'll go through Lyonshall Park Wood and pass Bullocks Mill on our way to Kington along the bank of the River Arrow. After negotiating some Kington byways, we'll return to Penrhos Court through Rhodds Wood and along Jack's Ditch Lane. A shorter version (about 5 miles) is possible by catching the Hereford bus just before the bridge in Kington at 13.42. Be sure to ask the driver to drop you at Penrhos Court to avoid a potentially dangerous walk along the main road. |
