Details Gunthorpe/Burton Joyce circular

Starting from the riverside car park opposite the Unicorn Public House. Walk up river to Bulcote village past Bulcote Farm a beautiful Edwardian farm built by Nottingham Corporation in1902. Coffee stop at the Holy Trinity Church .Then up Fox Hill to the top of Burton Joyce and down Lambley Lane with its beautiful modern architecture to the lunch stop at St Helens churchyard. After lunch we walk back along the Trent to Gunthorpe.

Plenty of parking spaces. Depending on the weather, the riverside and the walk up Fox Hill can be wet and muddy but has nice views.
