Thirty ramblers set off from Tomkin under a cloudy sky, but the sun made a brief appearance as we made our way towards Bagnall. Walking over a bed of Autumn Leaves we then made our way through Martin`s Hill Nursery towards Rownall and, having gone through Littlewood Wood and onto Thornyedge Road, we proceeded back towards the cars. After the ramble, a number of us made our way to the Windmill pub for a well earned drink.
