Approximately 20 intreped Ramblers set out on a chilly and misty morning from the Offley Arms PH, Madeley, but were greeted by sunshine as we tranversed a route expertly guided by Margaret B. As the walk progressed, however, our good fortune was blighted by wind, rain, hail, wobbly stiles and waterlogged paths, but were we down-hearted? Of course not, our comaraderie remained high and our spirits were raised even higher by the excellent soup and sandwich meal at the pub when we returned.

Thank you Margaret and Linda B for organising a day to remember for so many good reasons.
