Despite a forecast for very warm weather, thirteen ramblers gathered at Hollinsclough in mist and rain. However, the temperature increased considerably and the mist cleared as we made our way to Tenterhill so, before climbing up to Booth Farm, we stopped for a cool drink. Stunning views of Chrome Hill and Parkhouse Hill were revealed as we followed a quiet lane through Dowel Dale and a short steep hill towards Glutton Farm and back to the cars. After the ramble, five of us stopped at the Chapel Tea Rooms in Hollinsclough for a drink and home made cakes.
