Twelve walkers joined brian W today for a ramble from Thorswood nature reserve near Stanton. The walk took us through Swinscoe, the ancient burial grounds of Top Low, Dunn Low and Musden Low before returning to the cars via Stanton Tor. The weather forecast proved uncannily accurate gviving us a dry morning and we also avoided the afternoon rain by delaying the lunch break until we had finished. It was boggy underfoot in places, but we all coped valiantly with the slippery conditions to thorourghly enjoy an excellent moorland walk.
Thank you Brian
