Approximately seventeen members joined Jan and Charlie on a four mile ramble to stretch our legs before meeting other past and current walkers for our traditional Christmas meal at the Greyhound Inn, Burston. On a mild and dry morning we walked along some good tracks to enjoy the farmland to north of A51 and Sandon Church, before joining the Trent and Mersey Canal back to Burston village. As you will see from the images the Greyhound PH proved to be very welcoming hosts where we all enjoyed some good food and conversation.
