Twenty six ramblers joined Brian W for a walk from Stanton into the Weaver Hills. The refreshments afterwards at the Duncombe Arms were most welcome.

Fourteen ramblers led by Bill M set off on clear weather today for an eight mile walk through pleasant Cheshire countryside along mostly well-maintained tracks and paths. While showers were threatening on occasions, we were lucky enough to remain dry all day and post-walk rehydration was taken at the Red Lion PH in Holmes Chapel. Thank you Bill for another excellent walk.

Nineteen walkers set out on an increasingly sunny day. We started out from Biddulph Grange Country Park and passed by Mow Cop before following the Gritstone Trail where we lunched at the Old Man of Mow followed by some ridge walking with clear views across the Cheshire plain on our way back. Post-walk refreshment was taken at the Talbot PH. The company was great and a good time was had by all.
