Twenty five Ramblers joined Linda and Barry today for an excellent walk that encompassed field and woodland paths, lanes and a canal towpath. It was a clear autumnal day that produced some wonderful views overflooking the Cheshire Plane. The views did indeed make the ascent worthwhile as did the warm welcome from the Ash Inn PH after we returned to the cars.
Thank you Linda and Barry.

On a sunny day eighteen walkers joined Malcolm S for a ramble from Froghall Wharf and through Foxt and Ipstones. We crossed lovely green fields and enjoyed magnificent views. We also survived some tricky manoevers negotiating fallen trees, narrow stiles and unhappy Hereford cattle before enjoying tea and large slices of cake at Hetty's Tearoom once back at our cars.

Fourteen ramblers joined Howard C for his walk from Hollinsclough. We walked around Chrome Hill and Parkhouse Hill which provided great views. Thankfully the rain kept away until we reached the Winking Man PH.
