Alan B led today's walk from the Winking Man PH along moorland and woodland paths, and lanes. Good views and weather were enjoyed by all eighteen participants.

Thirty four ramblers joined Brian W on a warm sunny day for a walk from Denstone. We followed paths through the Berisford estate which is only a short distance from Alton Towers and Brian told us the history of the area which everyone enjoyed.
Thank you Brian for a great walk and convivial drink at the local pub in Denstone.

When six of us met at Teggs Nose on a misty morning for the longest walk so far on our programme of fortnightly Friday walks, it was the largest group so far. Looking forward to the 20-mile challenge were three from Stoke Newcastle, one from Cheshire East, one from East Staffs and one came from Birmingham. From the beginning, the idea was to provide longer walks aimed at members from a range of Groups, and the concept is catching on.
