Today, twenty one ramblers joined Linda B and Margaret B for a walk from Butterton. Despite the forecast, the weather was kind to us enabling the enjoyment of stunning countryside views and wildflower meadows together with some close encounters of the curious bovine kind. After the walk refreshments were taken in the Black Lion Inn beer garden.
Thank you Linda and Margaret for leading a very pleasant walk.

Twenty walkers left the layby opposite the Dog and Doublet PH, Sandon for today's six mile walk led by Maureen M. It was perfect walking weather as we strolled along field paths and lanes with views as far as The Wrekin, and through woodland where we enjoyed carpets of bluebrells. We stopped for photographs to remember the occasion, and, after returning to the start, our chatting continued in the PH beer garden where we were made very welcome.
Thank you Maureen for a very enjoyable event.
