Today, twenty ramblers joined Moreen M's walk around Oakamoor. We followed part of the Churnet Way towards the Ramblers Retreat and Dimminsdale Wood to reach The Old Furnace before taking a path through Sutton Wood and Stoney Dale back to the cars. After the walk a few of us enjoyed refreshments at the Roe Buck PH.

Today, twenty two ramblers enjoyed the walk around Berry Hill. While the weather was quite foggy and dull, it was not bad underfoot considering the amount of rain we have had recently. A number of us finished the walk with refreshments at the Bell Ringer PH.

Twenty six ramblers joined today's urban walk led by Graham O. From Central Forest Park we headed towards Burslem and enjoyed a coffee break at Westport Lake before making our way back to our cars along the Trent and Mersey canal past Middleport Pottery and Festival Park. After the walk, many of us enjoyed refreshments at the Golden Cup Inn, Hanley.

Twenty Ramblers joined nineteen others at Trentham Gardens for a varied walk along the Trent Valley Way, devised by the Trent Valley Rivers Trust. Due to the large combined total, we divided into speedy walkers and those wanting a more moderate pace.
Rain at the start suggested a washout, but it cleared up and stayed fine for the remainder of the morning. The route took us through Kings Wood, skirted the Monkey Forest where monkeys were spotted in the trees, and onwards to Barlaston where we joined the Trent and Mersey Canal towpath and than crossed Trentham golf course on our way back to Trentham Gardens.
it proved to be a most enjoyable half day walk for all.

Thirteen walkers set off on a five mile trek around Sandon led by Paul T. We enjoyed lovely views across open fields and woodlands despite the challenge of black ice on some hard tracks. The group stopped for a welcome break along the route where we met by herd of curious horses.
